Press Release – Informi GIS, Nov. 19th 2004

The 19th European User Conference for ESRI Users and the 2 nd European Conference for ESRI Education Users is over.

President of the ESRI, Jack Dangermond gave the opening keynote speech on Monday 8 th of Nov. with the central topic “GIS, the Language of Geography”. The next days showed us a large variety of user presentations, technical workshops and demos covering the broad use of GIS today. Much focus was on the ArcGIS 9 architecture and the numerous options for succesfull GIS implementation in small as well as large organizations.

The conference also contained a map gallery with posters produced by ESRI users from different fields. User’s choice for best posters fell on:
